Windfall Cottage winner reviews 'beautiful experience'
Avenues Property and WeLoveEverywhere.co.uk reader Jean Evans was the lucky winner of our weekend break in the Cotswolds competition....
It was a wonderful experience for us all, the cottage itself was newly architectured and designed very tastefully with every room having its own individual touches. The room I chose overlooked the orchard where there was a chicken run and pheasants and rabbits ran freely. There were also beautiful views of the countryside.
It was certainly walking country and we enjoyed some lovely walks locally. We had an enjoyable meal on the Saturday evening at a local pub in the village of Bredon.
To travel back I had my headlights on main beam as there was very little lighting but coming back to the cottage and looking up at the night sky the stars were so bright and even I could identify some of the constellations.
It was such a lovely weekend with beautiful weather and we all would certainly love to make a return visit one day.
